Polytetrafluoroethylene bellows compensator (PTFE bellows expansion joint) is an industrial instrument, which is used to compensate the displacement and installation deviation of thermal expansion and contraction in pipeline system with strong corrosive medium, and reduce the vibration of pipeline system.

Notices for Compensator Installation

1. The installation of compensators shall be carried out in accordance with the requirements of pipeline construction drawings and installation instructions of compensators.

2. Pipeline installing compensator must be properly guided and fixed in order to make compensator work. Therefore, the setting of guide and fixing bracket must strictly follow the relevant technical data of design department. For the setting principle of guide and fixing bracket, please refer to "Guide for installation of corrugated compensator".

3. Corrugated pipes used in compensators are made of thin-walled stainless steel plates. Therefore, during transportation, hoisting and welding, attention should be paid to avoid knocking, scratching, arc initiation, welding spatter and other reasons that cause corrugated pipes to be damaged.

4. Before installation, the bellows and foreign bodies in the pipeline should be removed to ensure the normal movement of the bellows.

5. The compensator with flow direction requirement should be installed according to the requirement of medium flow direction arrow.

6. In order to keep the bellows in good working condition, the installation errors can not be adjusted by the deformation of compensator, including axial, lateral and torsion.

7. After installing the compensator, all the yellow-painted transport fixed screw should be removed before the system runs.
